A sandbox runtime for code execution and agent workloads, with a Go control plane and low-level virtualization components.

Code execution for agent workloads needs guest environments and lifecycle management. Coco separates the control plane from guest execution components, giving scheduling, templates, and checkpoints their own responsibilities.
The Go control plane includes a scheduler, pools, templates, checkpoints, and a client API. Low-level components use Zig and KVM for virtualization; daemons handle guests and checkpoints, while eBPF programs form part of the network path. Protobuf defines component communication.
